He's not a bad player but not as good as a lot of people make out. When he came off today we played better. When he plays we're weakening 3 positions - RW, LW and no 10.

Johnston is literally just back, you would rather endanger his fitness than play Ntcham?

He's been back for weeks. Scored against Rennes and Ross Co. Might have had a we set back but looks fit now. And yes.

It is true though, that Forrest on the left and Christie on the right doesn't get the best out of both.

The selection today was totally understandable tho. Ntcham is playing well and our LWs have different issues.

Is Ntcham a better no 10 than Christie? No. Is Christie better on the right than Forrest? No. Is Forrest better on the left than Johnston? No. So why the * are we playing these players in all the wrong positions to accommodate Ntcham? If he's not good enougb to displace Broony, Calmac or Christie then he shouldn't be playing.

Think it’s only happening due to injuries to Elyounoussi and Johnston mate.

Johnston was back but then picked up another niggle last week, which seems a regular issue with him at the moment.

He’ll probably start on the bench midweek again but I’d expect him to get 25/30 minutes and then start vs the Huns.

Good 3 points , just seen the tackle ( not read entire thread) and thought it was hard but fair , if one of our players got a red for that I'd be raging, heard dalziel say it was a stonewall red and he is a currant so it shows how ppl see things differently.

It's the speed he runs in at and the fact he left his feet.

It's on the line between yellow and red but they can't really complain.

He got injured again. And no, that’s not the way to treat young players or any players really, you follow the advice of the medical staff to reap the long term benefits.

And Christie is absolutely banging them in off the right as well. Forrest looks * knackered, we always have a wee dip we need to grind out in December due to the number of games in quick succession, how early the season starts. It’s just a case of getting to the winter break.

I prefer us being far more fluid, players comfortable in multiple positions, being able to move them about. I like teams not being able to fully prepare against us because they genuinely don’t know how we’ll play it. Keep it varied.

Just watched the game on CTV.
Overall we controlled the game and never looke under pressure. Really enjoyed some of our close ball control, simple single touches and some fine 1-2s.
I'm not convinced with Jamsey on the left, much better on the right and Christie really should be starting as a number 10.
Another good performance and 3 points.

Christie is a * freak of nature though, you could play him at the back and he would still score goals :57:

Naw I do see your point, while Christie is still influencing games with his goals I think Forrest hasn't been his usual self as he's been on the left. I think Christie would have even more in 7 games had he played through the middle, that's how good he is.

Was out with friends today and the signal was terrible when trying to watch, so I can't give opinions on how we played although the stats were ridiculous and I knew we'd get another.

Anyway.... 3 points is all that matters and I'm so glad we got it.

He hadn’t scored in a few games until we moved him though mate, teams started trying to counter him. When we move him back into the middle when Johnston is fully fit or Elyounoussi is fully fit I think you’ll see another glut of goals.

I haven’t seen it but if it is deemed as dangerous play then it’s punishable. How much is at the refs discretion even commentary aren’t sure. Seems people have given up following the rules of the game because most of the time they ain’t applied in the correct manner.
