Mate, your posts are good and I would probably agree with a lot of things you say. The point I'm making is that, in my opinion, most folk going to Celtic Park go to watch the football, want to see a good game and see Celtic win. A majority, again in my opinion, do not go to the games to make a political statement and go to enjoy themselves at a sporting event. I accept Celtic we're founded for charitable purposes and the social injustice at that time aligns us with a political history not many teams have. But do we really need to use this as a stick to beat Celtic supporters with who may disagree with certain views. Telling them to * off is * imo.

Your point at the end is 100% and could also apply to the Green Brigade when they get hackled for right or wrong. Catch 22. One mans point of view or everyone’s.

And to think people thought Rod Steward was some sort of legend doing that Scottish cup draw *.

He is up there with Charlie Nicholas for * who dress up younger than they are, not even fashionable

Has a pish haircut as well

That's up to you. That's the whole point of the banner though that some people don't purely have an "I'm alright Jack sort of attitude" and aren't content to see other folk suffer.

hmmm , this is where the debate has landed then , time to wrap it methinks ! no winners here .
in all this , one of their finest moments ( among so many ) I think the " merry Christmas ya filthy animals " banner did not get the acclaim it deserved !!

See if they didn't do all the * with pyrotechnics etc I'd believe that.

Anyways, no point going back and forward, love the atmosphere they bring and colour, but they do bring embarassment to the club and hurt it too, financially.

How the * are we supposed to develop the game in this country with pitches like that? Can't blame the weather or money. Dundee have one of the best surfaces in the league and have far less than Hearts.

    Edit: Wrong thread :56:
