Got Loreti for 5.5 but the defender was around 30 million

 

Got Machuca joining me next season. Bought him in my first season for £2.5 million and didnt realise i had to wait until he was 18

 

I've looked into my responsibilities and everything transfer-wise is assigned to me, yet for some reason my DoF now only handles contract negotiations and * is useless!

 

DoF is generally gash this year for that @Seosamh Máirtín
Not sure my entire responsiblity list, but I've noticed a few times the DoF has taken over and it's pretty much a certainty he * it up. To the extent that players wont entertain another round of negotiations - which I reckon must be a flaw in the game.

 

I love the game and I have no problem losing some and win some, but I can’t stand the unrealistic losing streaks.

I manage Paris FC and finished 15th first season, 6th second season, and now when I have strengthened and have By Far the best squad in the league I have 2 wins and 1 draw in my first 10 games.

This always happens for no reason at all, and nothing I do can prevent it?

Can't help but say "you're Paris FC, what you expect" But I get what you mean.


Few seasons ago it was known that the AI (regardless if a team had played against you or not) starts to learn your formation and system. It's advised to make sure you have all 3 formations being learned at the same time, and to switch it up every so often. Even if it means going in to season 3 and actually changing the formation slightly.


Tends to always happen with me as well, specially at Celtic I notice it. But eventually comes good again.

 

Sold Frimpong to China for 45m plus 50% sell on. In fact, I've sold a lot of the squad...for a stupid amount of money. I've spent a ton on youth, but hitting roadblocks with permits. Still, 150m in the bank. No idea how to spend it sensibly!

 

Make sure the sell on fee isn't for a percentage of profits and is just a straight up percentage of any sale of the player.

 

Oh, believe me, I always do. I love sell on's. I just let go of kids for nothing with 50% sell on and rake in millions sometimes

 

Best Scottish talents?

I’ve signed Ferguson and Hickey for cheap to see how they progress and scouted a few others. Wanting to get a strong Scottish and Irish core.

Allan Campbell from Motherwell is decent. Also Luke Matheson is another great young player but he’s English, think he plays with Rochdale and dosent cost too much.

 

I'm only finishing my 2nd season but already I'm getting * off by Brexit and it creating roadblocks for regens...It will probably force me to manage abroad more this year. Where is best to go? I've only done Italy recently and it was difficult for non EU players.
