Double edged sword this one. Would never wish Ill will on the lad but this won’t help us getting top dollar for future players. On the flip side, hopefully shows the players currently with us that the grass is rarely greener when you leave Celtic.

It's very early days for him down there. People saying the grass isn't always greener are being a bit premature.

However, it's concerning for him that he picks up so many injures. Hopefully he can stay fit and get on with his game.

I worry about him costing us too, we need players to succeed when they leave.
You wonder if his body is just * from lack of rest at Celtic.

How long until their support overtly tosses him aside as injury-prone and a waste of funds? That's the tradeoff for a higher wage in EPL. Tiny bit of this is already taking shape after today's result - their support is already hinting that Kolsanic comes on as the hero for their backline when KT hobbles off injured... and we know how football is. :87:

Wish he never left us and we consciously landed Taylor and/or Boli to cover him to make our backline truly ridiculous. Instead, he's made his choice and likely funded the former... Ah well, that's also football. Farewell.

If we buy him back at half price with the 20% sell on fee (which we’d pay to ourselves) it would only be 8.5 million !

    Quids in!!!

Decent potential, looks a bit injury prone. Only playing for a mid table EPL team is a bit of a worry though. I would take him as back up as long as we could get him for a decent fee.

I suspect his injuries/loss of form is related to us flogging him.
Imagine if he had stayed and we still signed Taylor, would have been so dynamic, plenty of rest periods.

How do you know he wouldn't have been as injury prone if he stayed?

We sold him injured. Rodgers ran him into the ground and this is the result of that.

We got top money for him, so it was the right thing for us to do.

I really do wish him to get over his injurys and do well, but it definitely looks like we got rid of him at the right time.

His sale has helped us buy the other quality players we needed.

    Supination / under pronation

Might have nothing to do with that, especially if it's a sore shoulder he has just now :56:

He was a casualty of BR being an utter disaster in the transfer market.

Dread to imagine how our squad would look if it was still him in charge.

I’ve always said it was a good deal for both parties that KT left when he did as he is very injury prone. Hopefully he can still recover and progress in his career.
