    Honestly believe that signing Forster on a permanent is imperative if it a possibility in any way. He has proven his weight in gold this year already! As some have pointed out already, would we have done as well in EL with Gordon or bain in goal? Very unlikely if imagine. A brilliant keeper is every bit as important as a top striker. If your defence is having a howler your keeper can keep your team alive and competitive. Just so happens we have a decent defence infront of the big man too.

    I really wouldn't scoff at spending £7-10M on Forster. Obviously if we can get any cheaper then brilliant but mess around. If we can complete a permanent transfer then let's get this one done. If we completed it I think Forster would see out his career with us too. So could be a big investment for years to come

    There is no way that we would be sitting top of both tables today if either Bain or the * * were in goals.
    Still reckon we can do business with Southampton at this window, as they will just want him off the pay roll, rather than risk him running down his contract there.
