Nobody is trying to discredit him. He may well come back as a better than average spfl player, but look at our squad, above average doesn't cut it. I hope the guy develops and becomes good for the Scotland team but the club obviously felt he had shown nothing of note to improve on.

aye they did. The whole debate started because i said he was a decent player, to which someone argued he wasnt.

Really wanted him to succeed but it's not going to happen. Been hampered by injuries and we have a number of talented CMs - Loan or Sell in Jan and bring in another CDM to support Brown.

I'd rather loan him than sell him, he has had a couple of cracking games but no real run in the team for any period of time, a loan to an Aberden/Hibs or an English Championship team would do him wonders I think.

is he at least playing development games if he isnt getting a look in for the first team ?

is he training with the first team ?

i thought for a while like a lot of us did that brown was on his way out and kouassi would be his replacement, but is it just a case of brown refusing to become past it at first team level at celtic that kouassi isnt getting his shot ?

I remember he played very well vs Zenit at home. The 1-1 game.

My bad, so it was - I was there as well! Celtic legend Charly Musonda played a blinder if I remember.

I remember him playing against Hearts around that time, he was rank rotten, him jumping for a header in the middle of the park, made me laugh.

Another one on his way out apparently on loan.

for me an spfl club would be ideal.

however most likely to be a foreign deal!

very much doubt we ever paid £3m for him.

but to get a guy who played 10 games and who the rat said

“ I knew after watching a few minutes of the package he was a champions league level player”

the alarm bells should have been ringing then!

Think there is a player there, ruined by lack of/random game time under Rodgers and of course the injury, hope he gets a loan move and comes back to a chance.

With just under a year left on his contract I don't think there is any point loaning him at this stage, we should be looking to offload him. I doubt we'd get much but might as well get him off the wage bill for all the good he's doing us.

Hard to believe he’s played 22 games for us.

We have him under contract until the end of next season. A 6 month loan with a view to coming back for next season depending on how he performs sounds viable. Or punt in the summer and get a fee.

He signed a 4 year contract in January 2017 according to the Celtic statement when he signed. I know transfermarket has it listed as summer next year, but I have seen nothing to back that up.
