    His passing from the back was exceptional and then to step up and win it was all about character.

    Needs to bring consistency into his game but you can see clearly where the scouting of a guy with similar attributes to VVD is coming from.

    Supremely composed one on one, colossal in the air and is a fitbaw player.

    Can’t lie, been thinking about his nervous comment and apology. Couldn’t understand why he’d come out and say that, possibly making himself vulnerable to future opponents.

    Was * it for him for this match.

    Superb defensively, scored the winner and produced 2 of the best passes Parkhead has seen since Lubo left. The big fella is quality, has a great attitude and seems genuinely happy to be here. £7M is a lot for us but it looks money well spent.
