Atmosphere was up there with Tonnnnnnnnnny waaaaaaaaaaattttttt night

Was even better fact we came from behind against a quality side- me the mates saying at half time would bite the hand of you and be delighted with a draw

We weren’t even at our best tonight maybe down to them but sheer grit and determination and refusal to give up got us 3 points- definitely the best team we’ve played out the 3

Great win in the end but we rode our luck a bit. Thought Lazio were really well organised so wasn’t surprised to see us struggle for chances. Christie by far the MOTM for me. Great subs made at the right times from Lennon too.

Caught the 2nd half due to work commitments.

I'll get the negativity oot the road early doors. I thought we were careless with the ball far too often. Gave up a fair few chances as a result. Big Lurch called into action on a few occasions, doing what he signed for though. Defensively a few concerns still linger. Some similarities to the AIK away tie.

Positives- Aside from the result, the manner of the victory and the desire to get the result was superb. Julien finally got his timing(been a bawhair off from getting it right for weeks now) right from the corner. Bitton with the nice block to allow Julien a free run at the ball. Christie continues to step up to a level that I wasn't convinced he couldn't reach. Great finish using the Lazio defender as a blindspot for the keeper.

Finally, this team are capable of a much more complete game. Being able to produce a higher level of technical ability over longer periods. We let ourselves down slightly with the final ball and decision making on a few occasions. Yet shown enough qualities to get the result.

We are sitting top of the table. And that cannot be scoffed at by others. We are more than capable of getting results in Rome and against Cluj. As well as Rennes at home.

Thought lazio were pretty impressive tonight being honest, alot better than a good few sides in the champions league. Immobile made quite a difference when he came on, so you'd have to fancy he'll start in Rome.

Very pleasing that we won that while nowhere near our best, in years gone by they'd have ran over the top of us 3 or 4 nil tonight.

Agree mate thought Elyounoussi and Forrest were pretty poor tonight and when they went 0-1 up after quick break away a was thinking this could be one huff n puff plenty of effort but they just pick us off on the break- also having a top class keeper who can pull off saves like Forster did helps a lot

I think some are a bit harsh on our performance. Italian sides have done it for decades play closed, hit on the counter and boom take an away win. Even their league is like that plenty of defensive minded sides. They were playing in their comfort zone of defense, specially with being 1-0 up at half time. So to come back against such a team is pretty impressive in my mind. We dont have the same tactical mindset as they do. But we have the hearts of lions!

Overthere it will be them having to actually come out and play football. Which will suit us, as we can both control and counter.

Your right mate- team like that are playing against opposition of the likes of juventus- ac Milan- Inter, Napoli, Roma every second week or so, very difficult when you are playing Ross county ‘ St Johnstone Kilmarnock at Celtic Park every second week with barely no real defending to do and constantly on the offensive to suddenly adjusting your game to compensate against a team that play on the quick break away

Massive result ‘ know what people are saying that away game might be easier but still think getting a point will be tough ask

Win against Rennes at a packed out Celtic Park and 1 point in Rumania will be more suffice, even 10 points though actually winning a European tournament group would be a first and massive achievement

Got to agree, I think the critique of our performance has been over the top. I've just watched the full game after working back shift and thought we were excellent.

Let's not forget this was a top half serie a side not the usual dross we face on a weekly basis.

We defended well, I felt, sure, we got caught with a classic Italian counter, but plenty better sides have and i dont think it was any of our defenders fault just quality counter attacking football.

Ryan christie, what can you say? Runs on Duracell.

Forster, excellent. Full backs, excellent, jullien excellent, broony, captains performance. Eddy put in a shift and a half . might not have always come off for him but he gave his all cant ask any more.

Also thought the wingers played well despite the criticisms. Jamesy wasnt his best but he was up against better defenders than usual. Elyounoussi has came in for some criticism too for giving the ball away too easily but it looked like the occasions he has lost it were through attempting to be inventive.

I'm delighted with the result and performance.

Was a weird performance, I thought we were quite good in the first half but we hesitated and over played nearly everything there was 5 or 6 times we could have shot in that half and never got a shot until a pass or so later and wasted the chance plus Elhamed could have crossed in about 5 times but he kept trying to beat men before crossing and lost it. First half Lazio never really done anything outwith their goal. We should really have been winning at HT on the balance on the play it seemed to be about 70-30 in our favour, 2nd half was more 50/50 but they had the better chances.

2nd half we were ropey at times, could have conceded another couple of goals but got the luck and got our own goals.

Great way to end it with the late goal.

First half we were great just picked wrong options in final 3rd then when they scored we looked a bit shook and the game just descended into a lot of mistakes and missed chances.

We weren’t quick enough to loose balls and not once got the * luck of the bounce but the players never hid and kept working, had to grind it out in the end. Nothing was coming off for any of our front 4, so many times they’d forgot to take the ball when try to get past a player.

The main point is though we got the win when it mattered, under Rodgers I don’t think we would of won that. Soon as Lenny changed the formation and put Rogic on we scored and looked better then finally scored * corner!

    * the Lazio!

Aye Elyounoussi, Forrest, Edouard and Christie actually seen a fair amount of the ball in decent positions but rather than just hit the shot or put the ball in the box, they would pass it or attempt to beat an extra man and the chance was gone withoout us even getting a shot away or a ball into the box.

Should have just been hitting more shots when the chance came even McGregor I think had a really good chance to shoot in the first half and played it back to Edouard. It's like we were trying to be too precise when as we seen with Christie's goal and then even Brown's shot winning the corner just skelping it at goal at the first attempt can do the business we don't need to create tap in chances or 1 on 1s.

    You Bhoys were right.

Juillien should've pressed the ball and Ajer moved to the runner.

Just coming off the ceiling from that. Great win.

We weren't at our best but still won.

Think everyone's forgetting Christie thumping the post. Everyone labouring on about how they could've got something but it's all ifs and buts.

    * 'em. Top of the group!

Edit: Bastos desevered a red card too! Horrendous tackle.
