WRC back on tonight. 1st stage cancelled after Hayden Paddon crash. Also appears a spectator was involved?

    Neuviile leader after SS2.

It's a shame rallying isn't what it once was.

I remember the days rallying was huge. Tuning into the BBC for frequent updates, highlights and live stages from the Lombard RAC Rally. It used to be a big thing.

Rallycross also used to get loads of airtime on Grandstand.

Yeah watched a wee bit of it- used to watch a lot of rallies down here in dumfriesshire and cars serviced at the market in Lockerbie which was brilliant trying to keep up with the rally cars on way up to the stages at castle oer and twiglees: they just toddled up there and me and my mates tried to keep pace in our 205's and novas! Highlight in my memory was seeing McRae in his mk2 also favorite youtube clip has to be McRae doing those jumps 'bunning stages Australia'. Guy was a total legend and hero of mine

Rallying will alway be huge where I'm from, but the WRC has declined a bit. This year though could be so much different tho!

A spectator did unfortunately die last night. Not good.

Great documentary about Group B rally. There's also a follow up one I have on my hard drive called Still Too Fast To Race but couldn't find it on YouTube.

Unfortunately defending champion and also winning 3 in a row, Manus Kelly died today after going off the road. A Donegal native.

The sport is a cruel as they come.

    Rest in Piece champ

Just in from Leg 1 of Mull Rally. Cold night but well worth it. Great that it’s back up and running after a 2 year absence.
