Approx... £3m to win spl, £100m to get relegated from epl. The worst side in England get £97m more than us for being *. Year after year. English sides play in England, we are in Scotland. Might as play in Italy....

 

FM experiment, switching leagues in pes, debating the pros and cons for Celtic being in the EPL.
Debating if Celtic should be allowed direct access or start in the championship, or even lower.
Debating if Welsh teams are allowed, then why not Scottish teams.
Debating a British league.
Debating a British cup.
Debating a European super League, debating a restructure of the champions League
Debating what to have for dinner.

Celtic would be fine at the bottom tier of England. It's rangers that would have the problem, all those roundabouts

 

The only thing that might happen is a European super League but we won't be in the top division as it will be the super rich clubs that will be invited to that .

 

I personally wouldn't, don't think the club would ever agree to it though.

 

We have been hearing a lot of noise about european super leagues since the 90s,but no club made any steps in that direction,or has the balls to make it happen.Uefa have already countered the potential threat of a super league,by fitting the likes of ajax now into there seedings and porto,benfica are safe now,so any super league wil be made up of celtic and the scandinvianen clubs.The brits only need us to help fight n die there * wars,a union that suits them when they want it to.,thel never take a scottish club into the premier league.Hopefully im wrong,think we do well down there after a few seasons

 

What, start in the Vanarama National league and face a minimum 6 years to get to the premier league just to face english * like Norwich and Brighton 28 games out of 38?

All the while most likely a minimum of 7 years without european football just so that we can play burnley and southampton each week?

People seem fascinated by Celtic playing in the EPL either to (i) see us face City and Utd twice a season or (ii) to see us rake in that tv revenue money.

I'd rather be the champions of Scotland and to compete in europe each season where we already have the opportunity to make loads of money and to face the Liverpools and tottenhams. The problem is qualifying for the group stages and money isnt the problem. Cluj and aek had smaller budgets than us.

 

Personally, I wouldn't like to see Celtic compete in the EPL. However, I would like to see other SPFL clubs become stronger and professionalise their operations in order to strengthen the league in general. Of course, that would mean tougher opponents for Celtic, but the club would benefit in the long run on the international stage. Especially, if the European Super League is to happen.

 

I'm surprised the huns don't push for it if they love the english so much.

Euro super League might work for us and maybe Ajax, but other leagues are more competitive and how do you decide who gets into the league. Then you have teams far stronger like Barca, Madrid who wouldn't benefit from playing us in a euro super League.

Financial fair play ,rules against clubs having 40 odd out on loan, champions playing in the champions league,demanding a better tv deal for Scottish football and if none is forthcoming telling sky to do one are all more preferable options to joining the Epl * the epl and sky they are ruining football
