Dont agree with this, he has shown his passing and attacking play is fine, at times very good in actual fact. His assist for James Forrest's goal yesterday is an example of that. I do agree his defensive play needs a big improvement.

LEWIS MORGAN has leapt to the defence of teammate Boli Bolingoli after the full-back came in for criticism during the fledgling stages of his Celtic career.

The left-back is still settling into life in Scotland, and had some shaky moments in the first half against Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday before coming on to a game after the break and showing what he can offer Celtic in an attacking sense by playing a major part in his side’s third goal.

And Morgan, who played ahead of Bolingoli on the left-hand side for Celtic during the win in Lanarkshire, says there is much more to come from the Belgian.

I think it takes time to forge partnerships, but you saw for James (Forrest)’s goal on Saturday, he has made the underlap and I’ve found him.

“Hopefully that’s something we can see more of, because he’s obviously an attacking full-back.

“We want to make sure we are doing our attacking side of the game as well as defensively.

“We were disappointed to lose the two goals at Fir Park, but we’ve bailed ourselves out going the other way.

“He’s definitely got something to offer, we see it every day in training. He’s talented, and he works hard for the team first and foremost.

I think everyone has to remember he is adapting to a new league as well, but we’ve got full confidence in him

Anyone who buys,'likes' or shares links to the Daily Record or The Sun's anti-Celtic articles should have a hurling stick wrapped round their head.

Ambrose started great. A better example would be Bobo Balde, whose positioning and decision making were awful when we first got him and yet went on to become one of the best defenders we've had in the modern era.

Yeah he has shown it in flashes like I've said but I'm not being smart rewatch the Motherwell game and rewatch cluj. You will count easily 20 slack passes. So it's fact his passing can be way off. There's a lot of times aswell he played good forward passed n makes good runs but lots of the time in the last two games was really sloppy with his passsing

He mis-placed so many passes it's unreal. Or even to brown he'd pass it too soft and brown and an opposition player would be scrambling for the ball rather than into browns feet

He's * tbh, the new city new culture excuses shouldn't have any bearing on how to pass a ball for a professional thats just a cover up to try and justify his performances.

    bench him for hayes

I think his has good natural ability in him. Just needs a good coach to help him develop his tactial awareness and decision making.

C'mon people we all know the reason he's not played great is because he DOESN'T KNOW THE CITY!

Way to early to judge,so far he,s been no better than average but he could improve.
We have spent the money on him so lets give it time and see if he settles in.

All this * about development and coaching and potential.

He's 24 years old for chirst sake and he can't pass a * ball. He doesn't know where others players are on the pitch. He panicks on the ball, no composure when being closed down and just kicks it out for a throw in.

He hasn't put in a tackle yet in 7 matches.

    The lads absolute rank rotten.

I'd perhaps play him as a wing back in a 5-3-2 against the likes of st mirren if I had to.
