Given that he hasn't mentioned a CM its clear as day that Ntcham will be a mainstay in our Centre Midfield.

I can't believe people on here think we are going to spend another £10M we will buy another player and get a loan in. Are there any fans on here that have been happy with the transfer window (realistically) the past 4-5 seasons? I haven't, i think we have been sold short every time while banking 10's of millions every season. Everyone talking about rangers closing the gap i don't agree with that. I think WE have closed the gap by weakening our team every season have sold our best players every season while buying albeit OK players but not the same standard as we have had.

    VVD (£20+M)
    FORSTER (£12M)
    WANYAMA (£10M+)
    ARMSTRONG(£8M)
    DEMBELE(£20M)
    TIERNEY(£25+M)
ROBERTS (not our player but still)

Thats roughly £100M then the £8M for Rodgers fee.

plus our profit from Europa League and so on to having all that money and the players we have bought we should have a much better team than we do.

The backlash i will get for saying that but i think our mentality of not spending more money to see if we get into the CL is going to bite our * again this year. how these guys at the top don't know you need to spend money to make money is beyond me. IF we are lucky enough to get into CL this season and its my opinion a big IF do we want to get hammered 7-0 and 7-1 off PSG and Barca again?

No chance lennon would allow us to loose 7-1.

I actually think were starting to see the player sale and redevelop model start to pay off. Were buying £9m strikers, £8m defender. That's some figure for a scottish team. Weve upped a level. Continue this and we might have a chance to win the europa.

I'm expecting rapid movement on deals. Better not be * about in a few weeks.

Get players in and gelled for a potential tie vs Slavia Prague

I know folk are joking but I can absolutely see a deadline double signing of O'donnell and Taylor from Kilmarnock for £2.5 - 100%

Hopefully at least 3 players who have champions league experience brought in, even players that have played in the qualifiers stick O’Donnell and Taylor up yer * if that’s the route we’re going down signing they 2 average Scottish league players then it’s gony be a long season

Come on, "contingency plan" time. We said we had one. We knew all summer Tierney was going. We've just been given £25million. No time like the present. Overpay if we have to.

Interview with Lennon from a press conference a fortnight ago:

"Reports say Emirates boss Unai Emery is ready to revive his interest in the Scotland international but the Spaniard has just 13 days to make his move before the Premier League transfer deadline on August 8.

But with Scottish clubs able to continue signing players up to September 2, Hoops boss Lennon is confident he has enough time to reinvest in his squad should Arsenal return to the table with an acceptable offer.

Lennon, speaking as he officially opened the Celtic Festival at Glasgow's SEC, said: "We obviously have contingency plans and have worked out other options if that worst-case scenario were to happen.

"So yes, having that extra two or three weeks later on in the window may be beneficial but as far as I'm aware there have been no (more bids)."

    Lennon said last week

“I don’t want KT to leave but we have a contingency plan in place should it happen”

Won’t even be as much as that if we go down that route £600k Taylor and £400k O’Donnell or knowing Celtic sign both players and offer a few players on loan!
