I hope this is exactly what happens and he does regret it. And that's really all we can all hope for as fans. Doesn't make him any less of a fan and doesn't mean I won't wish him all the best.

You're right but how much pressure is he under from his agent, family...etc I genuinely thought Rodgers was here for the 10. but he still left. Nothing surprises me now. Upside is we don't need £25m players to get the 10 and I'm no less confident since he's left.

I honestly didn’t see him leaving anytime soon, then when Lennon spoke to the media and snippets from the club I felt like it was the same situation as McGeady being told it’s good for you, money etc.

I feel like his sale will cover what’s been spent already this summer and we will have loads left over that Lennon will never see.

Not always. Plenty of examples to the contrary.

Good luck Kieran, I hope he’s a success at Arsenal.

I believe he should have waited until after the 10, and he will regret not being a part of that. But good luck anyways.

He's won a treble treble and been part of an invincible's team his place in Celtic history is secure with or without 10iar, gave his all every time he played and at times was putting his career at risk playing through injury for us, wish him well and look forward to seeing if he can live up to his potential.

Tierneys family are die-hard Celtic supporters are they not? Not sure why you are bringing them into it.

Tierney will always be Celtic but the reality is he's also a professional footballer with ambition.

Cant be arsed reading all the posts on here but some on here saying KT wont leave cause he,s a fan and all that * really need to give their head a wobble.

We are fans first and while players are playing they are players first,no matter who they are they are not going to stay simply because their a fan of the club they are going to go where the best deal for them is.

Maybe this will be a wake up call to some, not to buy into all that badge kissing *,players do whats best for themselves and ritley so.

KT is a fan but puts his career first (correctly)and we should wish him all the best and we move on to bigger and better things without him.

Wish him all the best on the move. Must have been a bit of a mind-*, ambitions and talent to play at the highest level, the opportunity to be a starter in a top 6 epl team, but on the other side, being massive part of the club he loves, and knowing he weakening the team by choosing to leave.

Forrest if you want a current example. Broony. McStay. McGrain was the best RB in Britain and chose to stay with Celtic.

He's entitled to take the cash but let's not rewrite history and say that everyone has done the same.

Disappointed if the reports are correct, if there was one player I thought would be here to make history and be part of the ten it would be him.

Best of luck to him tho. Wish him nothing but success!

I think we've got one with us now, James Forrest. A happy one club man.

Sore one, but I understand he will want to test himself down there, and the obvious money side of things. Clearly he will be influenced by interested parties on all sides as well Agents etc.

Just more * off that the money will probably never be properly reinvested to replace him or others we have sold on for a big fee. Looking at bringing in UCL money on top of this also.
