Good result but poor performance all round. Was always gonna be a huge step up in quality and it showed. Need to be much better at CP to get the job done.

Elhamed looks great so far, less said about Boli the better.

Good result, but I don't get the reluctance to sub in Hayes.

 

Jamsey Eddie and Elhamed the only ones with pass marks so all in all it was a good result we will win this at home

 

Wait till the cl starts proper and talk about worrying aspect's.

We should destroy them next week.

Canny believe how poor we were tactically.

 

Hoping the players will learn from that, they had experience on their side and we were a bit naive at times.

We've crumbled under pressure in those kind of matches in the past so to come away with a good result shows some character

 

forget Bolingoli, I think Morgan was the worst player for us today

Poor performance but would’ve taken that at the start of the night. Should do them next week, hopefully Johnston is back

 

Think we'll win the home game but I don't fancy our chances in R4 with that defence.

 

Would have took a 1-1 before but thought we could have had more goals after seeing them. Played pretty rough football, just hitting the ball about hoping for the break of the ball or someone getting onto it.

Next week on the slick grass under the atmosphere played at a good tempo we should be doing them. Hopefully Johnston back as Morgan was able to beat their right-back and he has no real pace and isnt half the player of Johnston.

 

Disappointed not to have won it in the end!! They were there for the taking but we're a work in progress at the back.

 

Pretty happy with that. Would have taken a score draw before a ball was kicked. I thought we looked dangerous going forward. Edouard done well I felt, drifted out the game a bit but that was down to a lack of service. Forrest was a threat all night. Great finish from him. Christie put in a shift. Morgan I don't think is up to that level in my opinion.

Defensively still very ropey however. We haven't been able to defend set pieces for years. Not sure what input John Kennedy has, but we were shocking at defending them when he was alongside Deila, and we are still awful now. Bolingoli put in one of the worst performances I've seen in a Celtic jersey. His touch is woeful. Just puts him under pressure straight away as there is someone closing him by the time he finally has it under control. Couldn't believe he wasn't hooked as I thought he was a red card waiting to happen as well. One major positive is Elhamed. Thought he was very good at the weekend and again tonight.

All in all, not too disappointed.

Need to get the Tierney money reinvested though. I'm not saying spend £25m, but a good chunk needs spent on a couple of quality players. I'll not be holding my breath mind you.

 

With Sinclair & Tierney off ski we will probably have to get used to seeing more of Morgan & Boli

shift done, not great but i,ll take a draw everytime ,away from home in europe. however, i was hoping when i first saw boli he was just nervous, but * me ,my knees turn to jelly and i * maself everytime the ball comes near him . and its already apparent our opponents know hes the weak link .
