Scott Sinclair!

Sinclair's goals have been very valuable. No question. Can't think of a wide player anywhere that scores at his rate? He doesn't do the tracking back of Forrest however and with Tierney out the team, looked lesser in terms of contribution.

Tierney is the key to the left and I'd like to see Edward there instead of a Mikey Johnston or Johnny Hayes!

 

Wonderful talent, shows great promise. Kind of reminds of a 17 year old Wayne Rooney. Just needs to get those knees up a little higher when running.

 

There will be interest in Sinclair in the next 24 hours.

I can't see why Lenny triggered the clause in his deal if he wasn't first choice on his wages if it wasn't to get a fee

Morgan has come on as a sub before Sinclair a couple of times this season and now this tonight.

 

Maybe he's injured.

An absolute war crime if Morgan is starting over him and he's fit.

 

Shved didn't make it because we were pretty top heavy according to Lenny and had to make his subs due to the fact we had a number of defender's unable to play and only added one centre mid to the bench..

Mikey is injured and Sinclair hasn't even made the bench here though..

Pretty telling to me..

 

Would be sad to see him go. Even though he's not matched the brilliance of his 1st season he's never hit less than 15 or so goals each term and that is a LOT of goals to lose, especially from a midfielder.

 

I guess we’ll find out after the game, or tomorrow.

Said he must be off and he's simply been replaced by a better player in Mikey Johnston..

 

2 mill in and his wages gone. No doubt what he brings but just think no point on him sitting on the bench or the stand for that matter for the season to go for free .

Lennon said pre match there is interest in Sinclair. Nothing concrete but might change. He's off in my opinion

Celtic winger Scott Sinclair could leave the club before the English transfer window closes on Thursday.


Neil Lennon admitted there is interest in the winger after he was left in Glasgow instead of travelling with Celtic for their Champions League qualifier against.

Preston attempted to get Sinclair on loan while he has also been linked with Sheffield United earlier this summer.

Sinclair has been a fans’ favourite at the club since moving to Glasgow under Brendan Rodgers but has fallen out of favour since Lennon took charge.

And with the transfer window in England to close at 5pm on Thursday evening, Lennon said: "Nothing at the minute. He’s not (here), there’s a bit of interest but nothing concrete at the minute

It might change over the next 24 hours."
