Tricky one.

Yes... hes very prone to a brainfart.

But also, after a decent run in the team he becomes entirely dependable. Hes very, very good cover to have. It would quite possibly take a season for the partizan kid to get up to speed, which is why I think we're looking at a jozo exit next season.

That being said... I would accept anything over 7m. Bring in the partizan boy, weve got the two israelis for cover if needed, use the rest to buy a * right back.

 

Punt and bring in the kid from partizan.

Unfortunately, I think good offers for any of our players would be considered. Given our financial constraints in the Scottish league, every player will have his price.

 

Despite being a bit ‘bombscarey’ at times , he fits into the team well. Bringing in a replacement takes time (might not happen) and is another player that would need ‘bedded in’ to the main area of our game that needs to be up to speed ASAP.

Plus... I’d hate to think that we sold him to Lille because they had to fill a gap created by a 75 mill £ sale to Arsenal !

...while the same club reportedly haggles over the value of one of the best LBs in Europe.

 

Normally I would be like sell him if we get 5 million plus, but how long has it been since we signed a decent centre half? It’s took till this season and we have been crying out for once since a The snake arrived.

Again unless it’s an offer we can’t turn down I would be inclined to maybe keep him unless we have targets in mind.

I’m saying that I can’t see us having targets in mind since we have been a shambles in the market this summer.

 

I'm a fan of Jozo. Been at the club for several seasons now. He's had a few good spells in the side. Injuries have been his major downfall but he looks to be over the worst of it.

We've only got Jozo, Ajer, Julien and maybe Bitton to play CB. If we sell Jozo, and Julien or Ajer get injured then we'll be relying upon Bitton as our 2nd choice. Which basically rules out 3 at the back if Lenny wanted to go 3-5-2 in certain european games.

If we were to get 6-7 million for him then I would take it, providing we sign another before the transfer window shuts.

Anybody wanting him sold is off their head. We are going to be playing 3 at the back sometimes this season and we need all our centre halfs plus maybe another one

I wouldn't like to see him go, it would leave us light in CB. We could probably play Hatem there and put Ralston at right back. Just an observation, might happen.
I don't want to see him go.

 

If I knew selling Jozo would let us keep Tierney, I'd be 100% for the move. As it is, I'm mixed about this.

 

£4m get to absolute *, the figures flying around we paid between £4m and £5.5m for him.

You want double that, this teams coming with * offers needs to be kicked in the nuts, fkn £20m Bristol City Defenders and Arsenal are fkn around offering us £20m or whatever for one of the best prospects we've had and now this pish.

And let's not kid ourselves say around £5m and then you know who is his replacement from the North, * right off.

 

* stupid to sell the guy this window....we have so many new players in defence it would be very risky to let one of our longer serving back line to go.
