    In contrast to that Efe Ambrose strolled his debut albeit against Raith Rovers. I thought he was almost Yaya Toure esq

    Ryan Christie of the current squad and as someone mentioned earlier Rogic was considered a dud for ages.

    My recollection is that he hardly connected a foot to the ball. Headless chicken was my thought. As I said, happy to be so wrong.
    My first impression of Henrik wasn't much better.
    I also thought we shouldn't have signed Dixie Deans because he was on a 6 week ban when he came to us.
    This all says a lot more about me than the Club's signing policy.

    I think most fans never wanted any of them but they all done very well. Even Sinclair and Commons a lot of people never wanted.

    Lustig, Kelvin Wilson, Armstrong and Samaras as well as Christie and Rogic were all slow to hit form.

    Samaras probably wasn't accepted fully until 2011, 3 year ish after signing, same with Christie and Rogic. Lustig, K.Wilson and Armstrong took like 1 -1.5 years.

    Thought he was pish but came in and done well for us when given the chance. Young player of the year and 2 title's, 2 Scottish cups and a league cup..

    No bad for someone who really wasn't up to much..

    Bain has already surpassed expectations. Brought in as third choice. The ibrox game he stepped into. Was brilliant in that strectch after Christmas upto march where we pulled away in the league and advanced in the cups.

    Gordon too. Those injury worries he came in with but he was phenomenal in his first season replacing Forster.

    A couple for the older guys.

    Pat Stanton Hibs legend and I remember people questioning if he he was past it. Or if he really wanted to leave Eastwr Road for us.....What a player.

    Stevie Murray I think we got him from the sheep. Like Stanton played a long time with them too afore we took him. Again turned out to be a fantastic player who was vastly underrated.

    I guess Armstrong and I didn't know too much about Wanyama at the time so I wasn't exactly thrilled by the signing. Not sure if there's too many more, Griffiths, maybe? Though I kinda suspected he'd be a good scorer domestically.

    Barry Robson, without him I'm not sure we would have won the league the year he signed, smashed Christian daily after 5 seconds of an old firm game aswell :86:
