    Not sure but it looks like trying to engineer a loan to us, if its perm good stuff but we cannot be getting loans etc and giving other teams players the platform to improve at our expense long term & especially if they turned us down for that club!!!.

    I think you have your wires crossed. The deal to take him to City seems to be agreed in principle but they are looking for him to go out on loan as he won't get a work permit or game for City at this moment in time.

    That tweet implies he doesn't want to go to Croatia on loan but would rather Celtic. If it's on a permanent deal over the City switch then I imagine the vast majority are all for it.

    But if it's for a 12 month loan deal after signing for City then it makes no sense for us

    That's the thing, hes not choosing City really, hes choosing to be part of their business module where it's highly unlikely he will ever see a first team game and loaned out to some diddy outfit in Croatia for a few seasons..
