There's honestly not a video that makes him look that short. Maybe just a bit of a unit?

Brentford fans seem to think the club will accept 2.5m for him, with a year left on his contract..
Wonder has Hammond had any role in us targeting him ?

A wee bit of digging on their forums and a few have suggested he's got a dodgy knee.

He's consistently played upwards of 44 games a season for 6 seasons in a row. It can't be that dodgy?

Maybe it's what they want us to believe.

He's played a consistent number of games for 6 years so I just can't believe it can be that dodgy.

Opening bid of 1.5m rejected apparently.

Possibly yeah but he seems to be pretty comfortable playing much deeper than Tom.

£1.5m is derisory. £5m was the figure being thrown about last season before he signed a one year extension. £2.5/3m seems fair.

Really like the look of him.

Definitely has a bit of the Rogic skillset about him.

Apparently dropped back to CM last season.

Think his best position is seen as 10.

But... if you play a more direct game or physical he'd be lost. For a central midfielder he isnt a 'get-stuck-in' type of player. We play a fast, quick, short passing game and he's brilliant with that. He's also our captain."

Pretty much, word for word, what my daughter’s boyfriend said last night when I asked him. He’s a lifelong Brentford fan.

Not very physical or direct? I thought that's exactly what Lennon wanted us to be now?

He wants us to get the ball forward quicker, to be more direct. That isn't direct.

No arsed about the age. We need more players at their peak especially for these next 2 seasons. Julien was a step in the right direction. Him and Smith would be smart signings, two captains.

I'm not convinced on this one.

But at £2.5m could be worth a pop given how highly the rate him.
