Is it no a bit of a gamble just switching to three at the back? If they've got good wingers could all go wrong first ten minutes! Although tbf it's probably less of a gamble than Ralston and Hayes

Yeah I can't honestly see Lennon not going for that back four you've got there. I just think Ralston isn't good enough and Hayes offers something going forward but gives me the fear at the back.

Sometimes a strong attack is a better defence for us I think. Griff and Eddie up top would give their defence a lot to deal with. Couple of away goals and the ties over.

Can't see us going with a back 3, given we've used 4 at the back in our friendlies.

I hope it was just a ruse using Forrest as a 10..

Based on Jullien being fit and getting Mbombo over the line, I'd go with:

    Bain

    Ajer Jozo Jullien Mbombo

    McGregor Brown Christie

    Forrest Griffiths Edouard

Plenty flexibility within that 11 to go from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1. Even options to go 3 at the back and 5 across midfield.

Ajer at RB might not seem feasible to some but he played there against Valencia away and I thought he was excellent.

Really just hope we dont go with the same formation as yesterday.

Would honestly just prefer us to stick to the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 and then go 3-5-2 domestically most weeks.

4-4-2 just wont work with our players and coming up against most sides who wont play it.

Was very confident when this fixture was announced.

Watched a few of their highlights there. Definately a side that can cause problems, bags of pace.

As always, this feels like it’s come too early.

Tough as * these qualifiers, I know it gets said over and over but this is a pre-season game which makes or breaks your entire plans for the season.

    UEFA are *.

Thanks. Perceived advantage is in playing home 2nd so I'd imagine it'll stay the same if we get there.

Anybody think Lennon might try to arrange a wee closed doors game on Fri/Sat to maybe get some game time for Julien/O'Connell and Boli?

Any new bhoys thrown in for this one do we think, or will Lennon go with the team that played St Gallen?
