I thought that the December fixtures looked tough. We will hopefully have a Champions League game in among those fixtures.

I don't think you can get a better run than that. All the bigger teams are at home. Hamilton and St Mirren should be gimmees.

We have Hibernian, Aberdeen and the Huns at home in a two-week period over Christmas though, and our players are likely to be exhausted.

Much more favourable than the Hibs, Aberdeen and Huns all away in the same 2 week period last season.

That's my point. Doesn't matter if we play a few days before, we play them or not. Get some decent signings in and we could play the night before and still go to their midden and pump them the next day.

Nothing to do with the fixtures. All to do with how we come out of this window.

I'm not saying it will definitely be a Saturday but if memory serves the first game is usually 12.30 on the Saturday. As the epl won't have started there isn't as much an epl game to go up against. However if we end up int Europa league that may have an effect.

Though maybe not as it will only be the 2nd europa round before that which I don't think we"ll be involved in.

They’ve already switched Killie-Sevco to Sunday so with that in mind it’s 99.999% a Saturday game just a question of whether it will be at 12.30 or like last season just left as a normal 3 o’clock

We'll come flying out the traps this season. I have every confidence. There was discontent with Brendan Rodgers and Boyata last season. And losing Dembele. Our defence was decimated with injuries, and poor mistakes. The boys that remain will be out to prove a point on the back of a treble treble. Lennon will have his stamp on the team. Our players know where they stand. Both sets of players despise each other. As champions, bring it on Gerrard.

We need better performances at the ugly-dome, the last 2 have been totally unacceptable.
