Should be 2 players for every person 18 who are starter ability say the 7 extra should be Goalkeeper, Full Back, Centre Back, Defensive Mid, Attack Mid, Winger, Striker. You could possibly go down to 15 (Shved Could be AM and Winger) and a Defensive Mid could also play CB or vice versa (e.g Bitton).

    Needs a good rest now.

Next season we need to build the team around him.

Hasn't been utilised well lately at all and looks shattered..

Needs to go back to the 6 at some point with space and being that deep lying playmaker..

Ok I've had too much celebratory drinks but I was just following Callum watching the full game replay and I couldn't help thinking he really is our Messi, so I went to the search bar cause they have free wifi and when the results came up I didn't realise it was Page 1, normally clicking on a thread link it's the last page so anyway it was so interesting reading the 2014 comments, back to the Messi analogy, even when he's having a quiet game, his touch is just extraordinary and like the genius so subtle. then there's the vision when he's called into action by a team mate getting creative, I've never seen McGregor shy away from a creative move since I've seen him.

McGuire might be right, I don't know what he was like before Notts County but *, those Argentinian clubs who said Messi wasn't proven enough to invest hormone treatment in, there are some players who are just obviously beyond normally good and I have no doubt about saying McGregor is up there with the natural born talents. He's not Messi but he's our Messi. I love him so much because he represents everything about us. Plus he represents so much that made a huge amount of us love Ronny, the believer :notworthy

:43::56: I don't think I was being serious at the time, but it was in response to this video:

Goes to show what a huge, well-rounded player he is. He's played like a DM for us most of the season, but there's a handy reminder of his attacking skills.

I said our Messi, not he is the same as Messi. Without doubt he is a natural born footballer, stuff he does can't be taught, that calmness and precision eg @ 52 seconds @ 55 seconds, that dummying the keeper then calm corner pocket finish, ffs Seosamh that is a brilliant video, so amazing to see it after thinking about the similarity, everyone has seen Messi doing the exact same thing, shimmying across the defence breaking them up and finding a space that catches the keeper lopsided. I'm sorry I can't stop laughing cause I was only making a tenuous link but with full faith in his power but after watching that video my * it's all come flooding back to me, his range of skill and movement is jaw dropping. Without a shadow of a doubt he is our Messi.

I didn't even expect to see such a relevant example, cheers Seosamh, amazing bit of contemporary nostalgia :60:

*, sorry I'm so slow, I just got it :notworthy Messi has previously subtle hintedly said 'I've played in all the biggest stadiums in the world but Celtic Park is the only one where I wish I was playing for the home team. ' poor guy can only dream of what it feels to be Celtic :yeah:

In the last 2 season's alone, Callum has played 96 times (according to Wiki) for us. He must be absolutely exhausted! I think if we keep Brown fit next season and have a Ntcham or somebody else to come into the team on rotation, Callum will continue to flourish and look an even stronger player come next season. Seems weird typing that when he's just won POTY, but I think he has the potential to be even better. We need to keep him fresh and build our midfield around him.

I hope he gets more rest time, tbh he's been a passenger for the past few months, Brown has been carrying our midfield in the end.

We man was on form with BR but looks back to his RD days, hopefully that's fatigue.

Partly to blame for the goal yesterday too, hate him being used so far back and trying to defend because he can't simple as. Him and Brown practically make 4 CBs we have.

That QB role he had was the best he's ever played, distant memories now.

Here's hoping he's refreshed for new season.

Thought he was good yesterday, only midfielder who passed the ball forward.
