Has anyone checked this documentary out?

It's pretty powerful stuff, documenting how Liverpool - the most economically destitute city in England in the 80's; the scene of an understandable socialist backlash; the * of all establishment jokes; and one of many of Thatcher's pains in the * - was united through all their hardships via their two football teams, who were the most successful teams of the era.

It's almost like a Hollywood script, it's beautifully done, and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.

I did have a slight issue with the aftermath of Hillsborough, when they said that Liverpool FC's first game after the tragedy was against Everton. Yes, their first competitive game was, but the next time they kicked a ball after Sheffield was at Parkhead, and this was something that was touched upon in a Hillsborough documentary on LFCTV not that long ago, with much reference made to the fact that a: it needed to be done, b: it needed to be Celtic, and c: how much it meant to LFC at the time. Maybe I'm being petty, and maybe it was deliberately left out because didn't quite fit the LFC/EFC context of the film, but it's something that I noticed.

Anyhow, watch the film, and enjoy it. It's special.
