Aye that's the header he completely shat in their box late on..

Shows some lovely linking up though like first half but needs a bit of oomph in him from somewhere. A kick up the *..

Echo those thoughts. Dramatically inconsistent - still giving him benefit of the doubt though as he's played such little football before this run of games for us.

He still gets us up the right hand side of attack a lot faster than Mika, though.

24 but plays like a teenager, at times. I think he needs to improve a lot.

Always pulls the guy down after he’s gone by him, literally every card he’s had has been that scenario

He's firstly got to be aware of opposition players getting round the back of him and secondly he needs to be more aware of the position of other Celtic defenders when they do get by him. How many times has he needlessly pulled a player back when there's defenders behind him ready to clean up? It's pointless bookings all the time.

If he could cross a ball he could be useful, but as of right now he doesn't so almost every time he's up the pitch he wastes possession although there was a nice link up between him and Burke first half. He just seems like a German Gamboa right now, nowhere near the levels for us to be paying over 5-6m for him. However people thinking that Lustig and Ralston are the answer are deluded, one looked like he couldn't even make a sprint tonight even when he just came on and the other needs more than 315 minutes of game time at a lower club in the SPFL to improve his game.

Sign Lustig up on massively reduced terms (would surely still be more than the offers from Sweden?) then bring Gumny in. Keeps Lustig's leadership skills around the squad and he can pass on experience to Gumny and Ralston.

Thought he was pretty good in the first half and bad in the second half. Like everyone else in fairness but still,

    Rarely hits the bye line.

Gets to the 18yard box then stops.

    Ralston has much more drive.

Or just a reasonable analysis that he isn't playing anywhere near to the level he was when he signed on those wages at 27?

Personally I wouldn't offer him a new deal. Great servant, brilliant guy but we need better.
