Oh that’s a good one tbh we have brought through so really good players from our academy.

    McGeady
    Tierney
    McGregor

For me are the top 3 - that’s not in order btw just my top 3

Absolutely. KT is KT and he is a phenomenal player and a dyed in the wool Tim. But Callum is just unreal just now. The best player in this country by some distance imo.

And I’ve been saying it for years noo as I like to remind everycunt at every opportunity :giggle1:

Could play in the barca team when he's that good , not your average scottish player.

Too young to have seen in his prime but how does he compare to the likes of a McStay?

Watched the game yesterday and thought he was outstanding again.

Always looks like he's enjoying his football too, usually got a cheeky wee smile regardless.

You have to take into account the level of player Calmac has around him, compared to what the Maestro had. Also the consistency over the years McStay showed.

Callum is a fantastic player and hopefully has his best years ahead of him. Still a bit to go before I would compare him to McStay (IMO).

But, what a player to be compared to.

Dont say that - much of KT's injuries (in my opinion) is linked to the fact that he was over played

Same, one of the big difference is Callum being older has stopped growing. That amount of game time for a bhoy at 18/19/20 will effect a growing body differently.

Probably jinx him now but supposedly hasn’t missed a game through injury in nearly 3 years.

He is a footballing prototype. What a guy to have in the team for the Academy boys to look at. Does everything right almost all of the time.

A complete Scottish anomaly. But proof we can produce Champions League level players in this country.

Even in the last few minutes of the game he was still running everywhere, what an engine and has the skill to go with it , head and shoulders above everyone in the country just now , pure class

Forrest always showed it on the biggest stage and still got slated for years, think it’s taken a few other boys to come through to make us realise he wasn’t just a fluke :giggle1:

He also has some turn of pace. The goal weah scored at the weekend he broke with weah and Sinclair and kept up with them no problem.
