She did. She has * this country for generations, maybe irretrievably, so she could win an election. And she is considered a 'British patriot'. Imagine how she would be revered if she cared about anybody but herself.

Go on strike with a council house and you keep your house. Go on strike with a mortgage and you loose it. If someone came in with a massive house building scheme in government, house prices would drop. Houses are used to manipulate your vote to get power by these * , whatever party.

As a child of the 80's, she will always be one of my most hated people. The damage she did to this country is indescribable and can still be felt to this day.

Always remember how furious my old man used to get whenever discussing her. I was a little too young to understand it all when she was prime minister but that was enough for me to believe she was a cow, and as I got older and read more, I understood why he despised her. I've really nothing in common with people that think like her.

Unfortunately there's still a lot of people like her in government as well, Stew.

They'd happily * the rest of us over for their own gain. With many people being so much as a slave to them, blind to the truth of it all.

    * the Tories. If there's a more evil bunch of * with an ounce of power in this country, I'm not aware of them.

Aye transforming the sick man of europe into one of the largest and most successful economies, not just in Europe but in the world, was an utterly despicable thing to do.

Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990, is one of the most divisive figures in British Political history.

Given below are some reasons why she is hated in UK:

1.She supported the retention of Capital Punishment

2.She destroyed Britain’s manufacturing industry and her policies led to mass unemployment

3.She presided over interest rates of 15%

4.She voted against the relaxation of divorce laws

5.She abolished free milk for School Children

6.She precipitated a Social Housing crisis still being felt today

    7.The Poll Tax

8.She sowed the seeds of NHS Privatisation

9.Refused to put sanctions on the Apartheid regime in South Africa, went there on a state visit and described Nelson Mandela as a 'grubby little terrorist'

    10. Destroyed huge swathes of British industry, decimated communities, increased unemployment, privatised services, to such a degree that large areas of the country especially the North of England have yet to recover

11.Helped cover up the Hillsborough disaster where 96 Liverpool fans were crushed to death due to bad policing.

    12. During the Falklands war, ordered the sinking of the Belgrano which was leaving the conflict zone with the loss of 293 sailors.

    13. Let 10 men die on hunger strike in Northern Ireland rather than give them status as political prisoners.

    14. She supported the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia and helped train them.

    15. Supported Pinochet and considered him a personal friend, even after the full scale of the horrors of his regime were revealed.

Yep, he certainly did a lot of good things. But even with what he did with Germany, I don't think you can overlook all the negatives. Just my opinion though.

I don't overlook the negatives. In fact I have looked at it overall, in as unbiased a manner as possible, which is something more should try as they may well learn something. I simply stated the truth.

Sarcasm can work but not always.
