I think I remember Wayne Rooney doing a similar thing at a similar age.

Aside from his obvious talent and ability, he seems like a genuinely good egg. Incredibly articulate, especially for a teenager. He has a good head on his shoulders and comes across as a thoroughly decent boy.

Spot on, with a father like his though its easy to see why.

As you say for an 18 year old, incredibly articulate. Reminds me of a young tiger woods, put it this way his vocabulary is twice the size as Rashford & Lingard put together :56:!

Sinclair for all i slag him has been our most consistent player in the last 8 games apparently. No way is he getting dropped. Rodgers said today we need to manage Tim and oli as they don’t have a lot of game time
In their legs. Burke to start again and Tim to come on around the hour mark

Tim Weahs goal to game ration this season is actually amazing. PSG b 3 games 2 goals, PSG 3 games 2 goals and Celtic 2 games 2 goals. I know he won't keep it up but considering so many are sub appearances that is quite amazing

I think this guy is the real deal,he’s playing football for fun just now,as any 18 year old should be.
With his upbringing and Brendan’s coaching he’s going to be a star.
Would love for him to extend his stay with us,even 18 months would be amazing.

My only quibble about him thus far — from listening to several radio interviews— is that he seems a bit too obsequious. It’s like he’s trying too hard to be nice about the club and the fans. I’ll put that down to his naivety and age, though. He’s a talented and nice young fella, but the radio interviews I’ve heard have been quite cringeworthy.

Weah, Burke, Eddy, Forrest, Sinclair, Bayo, Johnston- that is a frightening amount of talent on our frontline, we should have no issues scoring for fun in the next 4 months.

He seems absolutely genuine in his praise of the club and fans. I have no idea what obsequious means but from context I am going to guess you are inferring that the lad is not on the level with his praise?

He seems to me to be a genuine, infectious peesonality. I understand you may have been hurt by a string of women in your life and that has turned you into the suspicious, cynical raging at the world curmudgeon that you seem to be, but mate, it's true that there are people out there genuinely happy with their lot and who view the world with rose tinted specs.

Timo seems like one of them.

Put it this way. After his two cameos the guy could show off a king Billy ankle tattoo and I wouldn't give a * as long as he keeps entertaining me. He is so talented that he doesn't need to try hard for acceptance.

You can be sure that he is 100% genuine.

    See this earlier...

    We didnt sign his Father,
    But the sons a player,
    And he's Timo Weah

No need to get personal, fun boy. I called it like I heard it on the the radio. I genuinely felt as if young Weah was being embarrassingly excessive in his praise of Celtic, to the point of grovelling. Or perhapa the North American Master Race of Highly gifted toddlers tone in his voice made it seem this way?

Sinclair has been excellent. Need to keep him going while he’s on form and build his confidence, a full flight Sinclair for Valencia could be a game changer.

Wouldn’t be against resting him today or Wednesday.

I absolutely love the way he talks about us. He’s 18 living his dream. It’s not fake or scripted as some interviews can sound, he’s genuinely delighted to be in the position he’s in. It’s a breath of fresh air because a lot of young players in football take it for granted.

He’s American ffs they’re over the top with everything :giggle1:

I think his interviews have been fine. He seems genuinely buzzing to be here, the prides ripping out him, look at his first goal and the celebration. He was offski celebrating before the ball was even over the line :giggle1:
