Hasn’t played since Dec 8, same as Bayo roughly, so might be a while till we see him as well

 

Haven't seen him play but like the stats, age & fee.
Him and Bayo are exactly the kind of player we should be aiming at. Cements the policy of identifying young talent and developing it. Kouassi too, I still have hopes for him. There must be, simply must be another handful of players out there like these two ready to be approached. Rather that than the loan system.
There's still a part of me quite nervous about any signings due to the complete shambles we've made last two windows but at some stage we've have to use what we've learned and start buying right.

Aye, he could be the next Tonev but he's exactly the type of player we should be looking at. Decent goals to games ratio, represented his country at all age levels, capped at 21, will be well within our transfer & wage budget. This makes a * of a lot more sense than trying to get value scouring England or being in a perpetual cycle of taking in short-term loans.

 

I find it funny that people still sneer at that. Football Manager, for one, is right more often than it is wrong. The developers have a more extensive scouting network than any football club (certainly more than ours).

CELTIC are on the brink of sealing a £1.75 million move to sign Ukrainian international winger Maryan Shved after his club left him out of their winter training camp to complete the deal.

The 21-year-old Karpaty Lviv ace has a clause in his contract that allows him to move to foreign clubs for 2 million Euros, giving Celtic the advantage over Dynamo Kiev, who are also interested.

And his club have confirmed he is in advanced talks for a move after they excluded him from the squad for their winter training camp in Turkey this week.

Karpaty Lviv's vice-president Oleg Smaliichuk said: "Maryan did not travel with the squad to Turkey because we are negotiating his transfer with another club.

"The offer meets our valuation and, above all, if the player himself is satisfied with the offer, then he will leave us.

"I must stress that these players are not being sold because we are in some sort of great New Year's sale.

"We are interested in the future growth and development of our younger players here and if an offer comes in that would help their career, then they leave with our blessing."

Reports in Ukraine have suggested Dynamo Kiev have conceded defeat in the battle to land Shved and the wide man will travel to Scotland soon.

Shved signed for La Liga side Sevilla in 2015 as a future prospect, but only ever played for their B team before returning to Ukraine.

He's netted an impressive eight goals in just 17 games for Karpaty this season and his form earned him his first full cap when Andriy Shevchenko called him up for a friendly against Turkey in November, which finished goalless.

Guy looks like a player from videos online. Spent some time at Sevilla so he must have something about him. If we get this guy in and a RB then I think this is a decent window.

Happy with this, left footed tricky winger who can score, missed that from Paddy and means he can be bedded in for next season after Burke and possibly Weah are gone.

Get a RB and this boy in and it's been a good window, not too much to ask lads.
