Loads of options out there I would go used if your just starting out, go down to affordable golf or american golf and try some see what you like, ping, callaway, taylormade ect all do cavity back irons, there more of a game improver, muscle back is more mid to low handycap, and blades players clubs mostly, I use the Wilson staff c200 great set of irons you can get them new for around £250, drivers, putters and wedges are more personal

SkyBet paying 10 places at the Masters

Contrary to Uk media, there are other players in the field other than Rory McIlroy :32:

BBC2 has the weekend live too which is good

I’m just going for a few longshots.

    Sergio Garcia 50/1
    Henrik Stenson 60/1
    Zach Johnson 125/1

I was thinking Speith at 22/1 and Day at 30/1 looked tempting but I’ve no watched the golf for about 12/18 months.

Love the Masters. One of those spectacles in sport I have to tune in to every year.

Speith at 22/1 is too good when Sky are paying top 10 EW.

I picked up some clothes this week, was out on the driving range with the new clubs today. Ping irons and Taylor Made Woods. Think I got a bargain.

Good stuff Minty :50: one of the most frustrating games you can ever play, but when you hit a beauty it keeps you going back.

As @cas79 said earlier, starting out it’s easier with cavity backed irons, just in case you have found yourself with blades unwittingly.
