Taxi from Celtic Park on matchday

Staying at hotel in Stepps on day of Sheep match.
How easy is it to get a taxi from Celtic Park or surrounding area

 

After not easy and cost a fortune with heavy traffic. Where you needing to go after game? Could try asking @pablo88 TC taxi driver and he lives local.

i will be up in car (maybe motorbike) but not sure about parking at Celtic park on matchday.
I will be at Celtic Park about 11.30 or 12 noon for the presentation.
Gotta do some Celtic shopping before then.

 

Hi guys, not local anymore. It's not a booking I'd be looking for but if I'm within a few miles on the day I could do it I can pm u my number. Failing that there's a couple of ph companies that would take your booking. Millerston private hire 01417793333 or stepps and Moodiesburn cars on
0141 779 1459 are the local firms. Network 01415571110 and Glasgow Private Hire 01417743000 may also have cars in the area but they're not local but 2 of the biggest firms serving Northside and Eastend of Glasgow. Be careful if u take a black hack after the game because they will hit u with a boundary charge. Hope this helps.

Unless you have to get a motor for some reason just take a train mate.
Duke St, Bellgrove, Alexandra parade all 10 mins walk from Parkhead and get you straight to Stepps in less than 15 mins. Vast majority of the time you never see a conductor too so will probably be a free ride

I think Stepps station to the hotel would maybe be a bit of a walk so you could book a taxi from there and it would surely only be a couple quid.

 

Train stations not to far from hotel but u would have to change at either springburn or queen st station.
