    Wouldn't be too upset if he goes to Turkey. Were the club really even after him in the first place? He's not what we need right now, Brown and Ntcham are our central 2 in midfield, he'd have just been another body in a squad already bloated with midfielders. It's defenders we need.

    Agree with the last bit but wouldn't turn my nose up at a quality mc. If brown or ntcham get hurt we then have kuoassi or bitton. This guys sounds like he has more about him.

    I'd give Kouassi some chances- he did look good several times for us. This guy won't be here long term. Quality is nice to look at, but thinking about the medium-to-long term composition of the team is necessary, too. Can't be relying on a bunch of loanees.

    It’s a permit for the league. It’s much easier to get a permit for Scottish football than it is for English football.

    Despite being associated to this fella, I truly doubt Benfica are a threat to a Celtic's deal. We just signed Gabriel Appelt for 8M€ and are chasing Ramires actively. The Ramires deal apparently is very difficult as he would have to reach an agreement with this current club (Jiangsu Suning) but IMO buying another midfielder (notably Ramires) is more of a luxury than a necessity for us.

    I think the reality is if a Celtic deal happens it's because we are in the UK and it might help his visa down the line they won't want to send him to Scotland
