Oh the irony. I didnt agree with the GB banner or the booing, but big Boyata shrugged it off and saved our blushes. Good on him. HH

Injured Thursday, plays on the Sunday and scores. Miraculous.

Hendry & Jozo were both unavailable today. I really hope it was a case of needs must, we've sat him down and asked for a dig out for today and Thurs night and we'll let him move on before the deadline.

Otherwise, we're signing no * and stuck with this ungrateful * for the season before he leaves for the square root of * all

BR on his decision to select, Dedryck Boyata, scorer of the winning goal: “It was pretty easy because of what he showed today - he cruised the game as he’s a top-class player, and we’re not a squad who can do without a player of that quality

BR: "He made his commitment to the team and he was there for his team-mates today. It was ironic that he got the goal. Everything he did was superb and it was great to have him back in here.

BR: “It’s not been an easy time for us all in relation to that matter. When we came back from the European game, we had a couple of days where we spoke a lot and knew it was a watershed moment."

Brendan says it's ironic he got the goal. He really doesn't think he has a choice but to play Boyata. It's a failure of our scouting, I guess.

Right that banner is one lot of * what is the purpose of it ? To make him leave ?

I'm not defending the big dicks actions in the past few weeks he's out of order but what does booing him achieve really ? Same goes for the people who clapped and celebrated every time he made a 4 yard pass that was cringey as well.

The green brigade look daft as well now as he's came in scored the winner kept a clean sheet and generally done well. I would say the majority of the stadium were not in agreement with that banner today and this is why they annoy me, They do not speak on behalf of the support

The people who applauded a player who disgraced the jersey and sabotaged our season are morons, not those who let him know that he shamed himself.

I think it’s a case of Boyata can go if we get replacements in, if not then he’ll be staying and playing.

As for all the folk in North stand lower and LL lower who turned round and literally gave the two fingers and 'get it up ye' fist pumps to the standing section after he scored. What a * riddy man

Fickle as *. He's a large part of the reason you won't be back in the stadium until next Sunday.

I just think the banner was a bit classless we should rise above it and it honestly helps no-one, and ill get slated but it reminded me of some of the * hun banners with stupid slogans on them. "PASSION ON THE PITCH" and all that * they displayed before. If they wanted to make a statement all they had to do was display Big Jocks quote, no need to name and shame the player directly.

I don't think the likes of Philip Wollscheid should be hard to snap up. We don't even have to pay a transfer fee- surely Lawwell would be happy with a defender like that.

To let him know he was completely out of line? That his conduct was completely unacceptable? That it won't be tolerated at this football club? That he's not bigger than this club?

    I could go on
