Surely we should be allowed to sue him for his wages if he's refusing to play ? How * cheeky refusing to do your job, especially when being paid about 10-15k a week. You wouldn't get away with that if you worked anywhere else.

Worst of it is, he could possibly have made a difference in the games against AEK as well.

At those values, I would rather let him rot. There is very little we can do (and even if we could, we wouldnt) with 3 million

Would defos be able to fine him 2 weeks wages. And considering he's burned his bridges here none of his team mates would give a *.

Saw that he's training with the U20s and won't play against Thistle in the cup.

Good. If we dont manage to sell him, a year training with the U20s will surely * his career up for good.

This needs to be sorted pronto, players like that refusing to play and trying to force their way out just causes so many problems.

You know what, this might actually be a good thing for the squad mentality wise. A wee cause to rally round and say * him we don’t need you can help with the fire in the belly sometimes.

We shouldn't let our kids close to this snake, surely there is something harsher we can legally do?

I think the under 20's coach should put 2 players on man marking him

one to mark his legs and the other to mark his ribs :)

He’ll be wrapped in cotton wool and rightly so, sell the * for as much as possible and be done with him.

I'd rather he was wrapped in socks filled with snooker balls.

Same but splitting personal feelings from professionalism, he wants to go and we want as much as possible for him so punt him to * to the highest bidder and forget about him.

It would be great to be in a position to let the * rot away in the u20’s for an entire season and completely * his career but unfortunately it’s just too much money.

Best case scenario is someone panic buys him on deadline day and end up getting the majority of the 9m we turned down for him, then we can forget about the * for good.

CD on Dedryck Boyata: “Dedryck has had a long chat with the manager. It’s an unfortunate situation that’s happened, and we can’t change it and Dedryck can’t change it. It was frustrating."

CD: “We addressed it when it happened and he’s had a long chat with the manager, and the manager is managing that situation, as he’s done previously with other high-profile cases in his management career."

CD: “So he’s spoken to the player and they’ve had a long chat and he won’t be involved tomorrow, obviously."

CD: “What happened, happened, and there’s no point, from our point of view, from vilifying anybody or blaming one individual. The manager has spoken to the player. The situation, as it stands at the moment, is open and we’ll see what happens."

CD: "We have to move on and stay together as a club, as there’s a lot of negativity that’s trying to be created & this situation has been highlighted amongst all that. What’s important is that we don’t focus on it. I've every confidence that we’ll come out of this stronger.”

Looking back to when we first met,
Celtic fans now we are full of regret,
    Dedryck you're the one,
    Acting like a HUN,
    Never wear our Hoops Again
