    I wouldn’t really judge Roberto Martinez’s opinion before what we’ve witnessed ourselves. Look at the likes of Naingallon with him.

    What I have witnessed was him being woeful in a bad Sunderland team. I would have expected him to be head and shoulders above everything else in that team but he was just as bad. I haven't seen him in Turkey, he may have been great there, but from what I have seen he is worse than when we had him here first time round, which is what I am basing my opinion for not wanting him on.

    SunSport understands Celts are also monitoring former loan defender Jason Denayer’s situation at Manchester City.

    Denayer, 23, has spent the four seasons on loan with spells in Glasgow, Sunderland and Istanbul at Turkish giants Galatasaray.

    And he looks set to leave the Etihad this summer despite having two years left on his City contract.
