There are more talented footballer players than McGinn looking to use Celtic as a stepping stone to Premier League riches.

 

exactly it comes down to what is a club willing to pay, hibs wanted £3m or £4m that's Ntcham price territory and Celtic will not pay that for a SPFL player - Lawwell and Rodgers need to get on the same page.

As people on here going on about him being a replacement for Brown are the same people in other threads saying no more projects, so what is McGinn exactly if he wont get in the team before Ntcham, Brown and McGregor so you really wanted us to pay £4m for a project who could potentially take over from Scott Brown in 2 - 3 years time....

aye and brown walked right into the Celtic team and McGinn wouldn't have! He would have been 4th choice CM at best barring injuries

nah Brendan confirmed multiple celtic bids but did say we will walk away and he feared with hibs stance on the player a deal would have been impossible a few weeks back

 

Don’t see where he would fit in to be honest. Good, honest player but there’s better out there. He’s suited perfectly to the championship.
