    It was a diddy team but some of the touches, footwork and the way he was breezing past 3 and 4 players at a time for fun was different class. Makes Samaras look like Conor Sammon.

    I wonder if us showing confidence in him by paying a big fee for him has boosted his confidence,,looks sharp,powerful and hungry ,second half of last season he started to ahow what hes all about,i know its diddy teams and only preseason but hes been impressive

    Must boost his and dembeles confidence knowing they arent playing up top on their own and can rely on each other,looking forward to seeing how this partnership plays out if dembele stays

    Yeah Giroud is far from an awful player, he's not exactly pretty on the eye (his style of play that is, obviously he's very pretty on the eye :100:) but he's a hard worker, incredibly effective and has got some underrated attributes about him like his first touches and linking up with teammates. If anything Deschamps bringing him into the team made France better, as a focal point he did his job well.

    As for Ed, he's such a class act. It's actually great that we're playing both him and Moose as a partnership.

    He's much better running with the ball than Dembele. Dembele often looks quite clumsy whereas Edouard nearly always looks in control. Think he's got more potential than Dembele as well.

    Chelsea got a bargain with giroud at 12 mill.surprised Liverpool didn't get in there first as giroud instead of solanke & woodburn as backup strikers would have improved them last year.

    Guy is a 1 in 2 striker for the World Champions. Has the same stats as Thierry Henry despite offering far more as a support striker and defensively.

    Awful, awful, player indeed.
