Just said if that’s a red then so was a few of their challenges.

I think it was a tad reckless but red? I mean he mistimed it, I don't think anyone would have been too unhappy with a yellow. I don't really think red cards should be given for accidents unless it's a leg breaker or something like that. I think a bit of common sense is needed with some referees.

Dragged his studs down the player from about chest height with the ball nowhere near.. one of the few decisions the ref got right..

Was a red for me mate. High. Studs showing. Missed the ball a mile and still went in on the guy..

Same * decked definitely should've seen red just after on KT though. Sly munching him with an elbow..

Was quite a few like that, then he'd have a word with McGregor when there was a much worse foul just before. Booked Ajer when Ajer made no contact, was a messy tangle with another Celtic player in a sort of sandwich. Nothing in it, and when he let play go on for that, KT I think it was was completely taken out off the ball by the main stand dugout well late..

Brendan was raging at the time..

He was honking mate, and I actually think the challenge he launched that * Miller into space was way more reckless, but because it was against them he gets praised to the hilt. Just seems total double standards to me.

REd every day of the week for me. They should have got at least one man sent off as well though, the elbow on Tierney was disgraceful.

The penalty decision was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen though.

No chance, that was very controlled, studs not showing and got the ball. That was the definition of hard but fair for me.

This was studs up, very high, straight leg and barely even looking at the ball.

Nah mate, he won the ball against Miller.. it was just the timing that rocketed him. Wasn’t even a foul.

Still launching into a tackle, tonight he just timed it all wrong. Anyway no matter the argument he isn’t the answer imo, but as I said just find the double standards a bit off tbh.

It was almost like he meant it on that Brazilian..

They were niggling last game as well..

Same with the clown Morelos. He milked it but I think Jozo and him niggles a few game's and he wanted to catch him a touch..

He's reckless. Get's caught out of position constantly and with ball's over the top. Plus is injury prone and can't play on certain surfaces..

    He 100% needs improved on..

Used to really like and rate him as well. Mind isn't on the job here..

Ok but the same people loving that one are moaning about tonight’s tackle, for me it’s all a matter of timing and his decision making. The guy for me has went from being our best defender to an absolute bomb scare at times. But I still think tonight’s red card was harsh.

    Because they're completely different..

The Miller 1 he get's the full ball and cleans the man out on the follow through..

Tonight he plays a brutal header that hits off the man he then challenges and misses a mile and studs him high..

It isn't even a comparison, even if he never meant that tonight..

I like him and think he's a capable defender on his day, which we are seeing less and less of.
Think he's * it and burnt his bridges with Brendan now.
    Need better regardless.

He should know better than to put himself in that situation and that possibly sealed his fate I think.

They are both still rash imo, the point is he timed the one on tango right. He has still went from one of our best defenders to a bit of a riot. And how many of those type of challenges have you seen get a yellow in Scotland because I’ve seen plenty.

He's too reckless to play for us in the wider centre-backs of a 3. I think he was fine when he played in a back two and they just kind of sat in deeper and were well protected but in a back 3 he needs to come out wide and up the park a lot and he's not wise enough of a player - he likes to dive into tackles too much or rush in when it's too dangerous to do that in his position unless you are winning the ball. He fails to win the ball too much.

Id rate him 4th best out of Boyata, Lustig, him and Hendry at playing at the sides of the defence. Henry has very good pace and is smooth in the tackle, better touch and dribbler on the ball as well than Simunovic when having to play his way out of pressure.

Him and Compper should be sold and a new Bobo/Boyata type being signed to replace Lustig as a starter with Hendry, Bitton and Lustig as the back-up.

It’s a concentration thing for me which stems from a poor attitude.. will have to disagree around the red tonight but whatever way you see it he has given a poor ref an easy decision to make.

It’s a shame as he did look good and has looked ok this pre-season.. it’s a massive season for him but tonight will have done him no favours with BR, who was content to leave him on the bench last season. An offer around what we paid and I’d take it.

    Think we need to CBs..
