    Bring back big Charlie Mulgrew.
    Good amount of European experience.
    Knows the Scottish game inside out.
    Would trust him as part of a back 3 or as CB in a 4 (even in Europe).
    Could also be backup for Tierney.
    Quality at set pieces.
    Would settle in straight away and hit the ground running.
    Think he's exactly what we need right now.

    That the same Mulgrew that gave the ball away with his first touch of the match in a friendly against Ireland with 0 pressure on him? the same mulgrew that walks off the pitch when the other team scores, the same Mulgrew that undermined the coach at the time and never got a look in again. Rodgers let him train a month after his contract had expired at lennoxtown and didn't impress him. His set pieces are the only thing that would be of benefit to us. Barry Douglas on the other hand is a different story but looks like he will be first choice LB for Wolves in the pl this season, if he gets dropped could be an opportunity to bring him here

    At this stage, I would definitely take a free experienced CB like Jose Fonte or John Terry if it were possible.

    Shocked tbh at the lack of links for CB's when it's clearly where we need to improve, especially if there are 3 spots up for grabs this year.

    Fits the bill perfectly. Played in the left of a back 3 for Nigeria and apart from letting Messi run through on goal for his first, he played very well.



    Didn't start in the Croatia game as they switched to a back 4 for some reason but kept a clean sheet against Iceland with some good reading of the game here. [2:13] (Ignore the other diddy giving away the penalty)



    With Jozo increasingly getting on the managers nerves, wouldn't be surprised to see him after a guy like this.

    lol aye I used to like him, not seen him in quite a while though. I always thought he defended really well, just one of those players who always seemed to steal the ball or mark people really well. Would take him despite not seeing him playing in ages.

    He's not the biggest of players though but pretty quick and good defensively.
