    Things I love about CMac is;

1-he always takes the ball whatever the conditions or circumstances.
2-always tries to create, run or play forward.
3-the way he effortlessly turns away from defenders into space.
4- when he pops into pockets of space from nowhere

What a player this kid is

He's * brilliant and quite easily one of the best in the current squad. All he lacks is Tierneys mental personality or he would be a current idol. Fantastic player.

And he isn't fancied for Scotland :56::56:

Edit: early days in the new reign to be fair, but he should be one of the first names on the teamesheet.

I'm not sure that he does. I think KT wears it on his sleeve and we love him for it. Cmac shows an inner much quieter determination and tenacity.....a real old fashioned footballer with a touch of modern panache and class. KT is class with blood and guts.

Was just watching the BT sports highlights of the Gladbach game the other night in work, the amount this lad has came on since that night is amazing. Wouldn't imagine him missing a chance like that now, would have to be one of the first names on the teamsheet

The fact that Brendan has to chamge the formation to accomdate him says it all. He has been the most improved player ubder Brendan, one of our best players. Always gives his best, great attutude and technically very good.

He is silently becoming one of my favs. Recall not too long ago I would have been bemused tto see his name in the starting lineup. Now I expect him there for Celtic and for Scotland

Not too long ago there were people who didn't fancy him even as a squad player.

I always liked him, but even I never expected him to nail down a place in the first team and improve consistently. Really nice down to earth lad too.

Our team has a great spirit and the leaders and strongest players coming to the fore are scottish based academy ,we seem to be getting it right ,those players will be the ones who pass on this spirit to the new generation coming through ,its time we found a striker from our system .

Took me a while to get on board fully with him. Still has game's where he's in and out of it but he's a quality player who more or less always turns up in the big game's..

Always picking up spaces to get in a position to score. No fluke about it. His goal compilation must be something else..

He's came right out his shell this season for me as well with a swagger about him now..

Versatile and will do a job almost anywhere..

A class wee player who i think will never leave..

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon believes Callum McGregor is one of the most underrated players within the Hoops dressing room but expects that his goal that helped deliver a back-to-back treble will give him the recognition that he deserves.

McGregor opened the scoring against Motherwell on Saturday afternoon after just 11 minutes and in truth the minute it hit the back of the net there was little doubt that the treble was on its way.

It was the latest of a series of goals this season from the Scotland midfielder when the stakes have been high and Gordon is appreciative of just what the academy graduate brings to the Parkhead midfield.

“I don’t think Callum gets anywhere near the credit he deserves,” said Gordon. “I think he is one of those players that people take a little bit for granted and that has been the case for a while now – but not in our dressing room. He is a massive part of this team and he has really added another dimension to us in the middle of the park.

“He has scored a fabulous amount of goals and big goals too, this season. He really adds to our threat going forward and I thought he showed great technique on Saturday – it really is a tremendous goal. There aren’t too many goalkeepers who would have been saving that one, that’s for sure.

“But that is what he brings. He has fabulous natural ability but he works hard and I think he has just gone up to another level this season.”
