Followed the Pit@Det game earlier, and yes, good to have the season back underway. Although, admittedly, not been paying particularly close attention this spring training, preoccupied with the cricket, lol

The Yankees could be nasty with the Combo Judge Stanton. So much power.

Don't expect too much from my Braves. Still I'm glad the season is back on

Go to the Mets mate, proper baseball guaranteed. I'd go with you if I could.

Both are great stadiums, the Mets are a bit more expensive and out of the way, only 1 train goes there, so your best bet is a Yankees game, easier to get too and cheaper

The obvious downside which has been neglected to mention is that would subject him to having to watch the Stinkees. :58:

Acuna is on fire at the moment. Never thought the Braves would compete for the NL East this season.

Last few seasons NL East has been all about the Nats, but they've really not hit top gear this year and it's opened the door, so yeah NL E could be an interesting race to follow in the last 6-7 weeks.

I think the NL Central would disagree with you, Cubs, Brewers and now the Cards are all in a tight battle, the Cubs really spent a lot to overtake the Brewers who I think will regret not making a big trade move when they were in First place, and now the Cards have come back to make the race even more interesting.

The Cardinals are certainly making a race of it and fair play to them I hope they somehow pull it off. But the Brewers blew it last season when they had a shot and I have seen nothing from them this season that when it gets hot they will do anything different. There is a race there but sadly the NL Central is very much Cubs in pole position.

The Brewers were a surprise last year, and even this year, they are still in their rebuilding phase, which is why I think in the end they didn't make any big move at the deadline, The Brewers have the guy who rebuilt the Astros from the ground up in charge of their farm system and he has already made it one of the most promising ones in the majors, and the best Pitcher they could have gotten this year in a trade is De Grom from the Mets and he isn't worth the 2 or 3 top prospects the mets wanted, so while it's a shame I can understand Milwaukee putting their future ahead of a longshot roll of the dice to make the postseason, that being said they are still in the leade for the wildcard game so even without any trade they may get to the playoffs

Thanks for that info. I did not know that. Hopefully a positive future then for them. Sadly this year looks beyond them in terms of the division.

Baby Braves are a joy to watch. Hopefully they can finally overcome their 1st round playoff curse.

Red Sox already 103-47 for the season! Due to clinch the AL E against the Stinkees in NY in the next couple of days.

    Fingers crossed.

They have without a doubt been the best team in baseball this regular season not even close really. No question they will be the firm favourites to win it all once the playoffs get started.
