He isn’t cup tied though.

 

Good back up keeper never a number 1 at us though. Hopefully big CG is back for semi.

Because he came in to be a back up.

 

He hasn’t put put a foot wrong in a Celtic jersey. The jersey is his to lose.

 

One mistake and that's him done at Celtic.

 

I'm still in two minds about this but the more he plays the more I'm leaning towards your opinion because I think on form players should always get the shout ahead of those coming back from injury unless they are superstars.

I still think Gordon is our No.1 but I have to agree Bain should be given the jersey till he messes up badly, like De Vries when he got subbed at half time when a 40 yard shot went through his arms.

Gordon is reaching the end of his career so we should be giving Bain as much backing as possible if he keeps performing because confidence begets confidence and then he'll sign for us cause I'm sure there will be other teams taking notice and willing to offer him something decent.

 

Better then De Gea imo

 

I would literally cry tears if he benched De Gea next season. Not only cause he should be with us but I can't stand Mourinho and it's guaranteed they'd be in our group if we qualified in this hopefully fantasy land

Edit: Us qualifying isn't part of the fantasy, that better be real life.

 

Im more than impressed with bain. In fact i was hoping he'd do great. A fairy tale story etc deep down thinking he'll be pish. Hes a bench warmer for a lower team. So far my fairytales coming true. Yaasss

 

Hes only played a few games mate and conceded a few goals. Hes done ok yeah but he has not stood out enough to be tipped as our no.1 keeper.

 

We need to sign this bhoy.

He has been great so far and earned a contract.

DDV has had many chances and hasn't impressed At all.

 

He's done well so far and the jersey should be his to lose. The more I see him the more he fills me with confidence.

Amazing isn’t it I was one of the many on here who where not too impressed by Hendry and Bain signing on deadline day but was mega excited about musonda and look how it’s turned out hope Charly gets some game time between now and end of season!

 

I've always liked Bain. I thought the jump to us could be a bit big for him but happily proved incorrect.

I still think we could do better than him, Gordon and DDV for number 1.

He's an outstanding second choice though imo.

 

At least he's capable of shot stopping which ddv hasn't been. Good luck to the lad hope he can be a good keeper for us and push Craig Gordon for the number 1.

 

Still early days but I think Bain could be a very good long term goalkeeper here. Always liked him at Dundee, sure I mentioned him in the players suggestions thread after every game he had against us.

 

I feel much more comfortable with him in goals than either of the other 2 (isn't really saying much I know) . Unless Bain's form dips dramatically he should stay in the team until the end of the season m.
