    I was arguing with my younger bro about this today in WhatsApp.

    He suggests that since Brendan has came in, he’s won domestically everything he’s gone for so far, and we’ve made progress in Europe (back in the CL; European football after Christmas this year for example). 69 Games unbeaten. 15,000 more on the season ticket books. Totally understand all that and don’t argue we’ve really turned the corner. But ...

    The defence? Look at it and ask yourself - which player aside from Kieran do you TRUST back there?

    Simo is a liability;

    Boyata is a * liability and worse than a man short;

    Ajer - I’d argue half decent but jury still out

    Commper - old Injured german with the turning cycle of a tank;

    Hendry is one for the future, getting game time now but raw as *;

    Gamboa ? Come on, he’s *;

    Lustig - Great Servant, now past it;

    Ralston - a young, inexperienced boy;

    Kieran Tierney - a legend in his own lifetime

    Aside from KT there’s * no-one of note - of any real quality - and Brendan hasn’t even minutely improved things in the defensive line since he took charge.

    What the * is going on?! In the last game due to injuries and other issues we are playing Callum G and Forrest - two bright spark attacking players - in WINGBACK roles.

    Answers on a * postcard.

    Hate me love me argue with me ignore me or tell me I’m full of *. (I’m not)

    Ajer has been sensational this season. At 19 been far and away our best CB. Handled all the pressure of some of the big games he's played this season with the maturity of a seasoned veteran defender.

    To say the jury is still out is utter cow dung.

    I thought Hendry was excellent against Motherwell and is a promising young defender. Looked like he has good pace to get back in position aswell and can bring the ball out. Ajer has been very good since he came in, been very impressed with him.

    As much as our defence gives me the fear, I don't think the goals against stats are much different than last year. We certainly haven't scored as much thats for sure, which brings more attention to our defence when conceding.

    I’ve not written off Ajer but he’s not able to do this alone and he is doing it alone right now and THAT IS A SHAMBLES

    Away fling * at the moon ya dafty.

    Ajer is an outstanding talent. No surprise to see you disappear when we notched up 2 good victories at Pittodrie and ibrox, then come on here after a poor result at the weekend.

    Strange by name, strange by nature.
