Love how he seems to target specific types of players and goes after them until he gets them instead of settling for less.

Under Lennon and Deila we signed so much * * on average players, when we already had players in that position who already weren’t good enough.

When Rodgers first came in he said he wanted more pace out wide and pace and power upfront and brought in Moussa and Scotty. Said he wanted a powerful creative midfielder and brought in Ntcham then said he wanted experience at the back and went and got Compper before the window even opened. Been chasing Musonda for the creative number 10 since last year and we’ve got him.

Be interesting to see what position(s) he targets next.

Massive credit to BR for getting the Musonda deal through. To think two years ago we were buying Colin Kazim-Richards!

Now if he can pull a quality CB out his * as well as a decent keeper, I might not be watching the Zenit tie through my fingers.

 

great manager IMO he brings many young quality players to the club and players with real energy and skill who want to improve and he knows how to do it.

We have multi million assets all over the park , Griffiths,Tierney,Ntcham,Kouassi,Dembele,Sinclair,Rogic not to mention 3 top quality loans in Roberts,Musonda and Eduoard...even players like Simunovic Forrest ,Armstrong and Boyata would go for a few mill ...and the players weve sold VVD money,Wanyama,Forster , top manager and champions league riches every season as long as brendan stays he knows how to negotiate them..there's the gap huns.

 

The more I see the thumbnail for this thread the more I think Brendan should grow a beard

 

All these managers making a right balls of it down south, makes me wonder how long before they come looking for Brendan?
