    Hanni is exactly what we need. Suggested him when he was still at KV Mechelen and had just went from strength to strength at Anderlecht.

    Another I've always liked is Riyad Boudebouz. Very similar player.

    Moved to Betis last summer but would love him here. Can play RW LW and CAM

    Only saw Hanni against us but he looked a right player,gave us allsorts of problems he was a standout.

    More than we'd be willing to pay, he played excellent against us in the home tie would surly be looking for 7-8m+ and i just cant see us paying that

    We need players in now. Rodgers, Lawwell and Congerton knew this.

    In the summer there is the World Cup, we have potentially got 8 qualifying games for the Champions League, and now these fecking Scotland friendlies, which were always a possibility anyway.

    We’ve got guys like Tierney and Brown playing more games than any other players in Europe, purely because we have no quality cover, or guys like Kouassi who the manager obviously doesn’t trust yet, meaning it’s pointless him even being in the squad. He’s better on loan.

    Lustig gets worse with every game, and it’s been that way for a while.

    On Wed night the only decent defender was Kieran(again)

    I like Ajer, but at his age, especially for a centre half, he needs to be drip fed into the team. He’s still got to improve, he gets too close to the striker for me, and gets turned too easy, I also think a bigger pitch suits him.

    Brendan seems to have a mental block when it comes to defence, it was the same at Liverpool.

    He says the same thing every week - that he’s happy with the defenders, and that we defend aggressively, it’s bizarre.

    It’s a bad day when you’re watching Christophe Berra and thinking he actually defends like a proper man, he’s at least got some balls. I feel sick typing this if I’m being honest.

    That’s what Lustig, Boyata etc have reduced me to.

    Probably down to the fact that KT is still young and developing. It’s hard to accomodate two players like that who are vying for the same position - particularly when KT is a Celtic fan and could realistically be here for a number of years.

    We’ve also got the lad Daniel Church(left back) who’s around 17, he was out with an injury but came back recently.

    Anyway it will be interesting to see how he progresses because Man Utd and a few other English clubs wanted him before he signed his first contract with us.

    I think he’s just left St Ninians.

    I think an experienced left back might be a better idea, another experienced right back also to give Ralston time to improve, because Lustig is rotten and it’s pointless Gamboa being there.

    I started typing that mate before I noticed your post, honest, - no seriously I know he’s highly rated because I remember him and Aitcheson signing their contracts around the same time.

    I saw something recently on Celtic TV or in the Celtic View and it was young Daniel Church winning awards at St Ninians, so I think that might be him leaving.

    Croatian CB, 21 playing for RB Salzburg. Played 18 of their 20 league games so far. The team has the lowest goals against at only 14 - we are at 16 against with 23 games played - valued at £2.7m and been on their books for 3 years now. Unfortunately signed a contract extension last month, but that was a very quick search that found him. Surely worth a proper look at - which I believe our scouts would be - but if average joe fans can find a prospect qucikly, then you got to assume our team of scouts can find 20 of these guys and of that calibre and age etc, even 20% of them surely are actually attainable, so why aren't we ?
