After qualifying to the CL 2 times on the bounce, the season ticket sales, record revenues... and they charge that much for this then go on about not giving a member of ur family or friend ur ST.
The people running this club are starting to act like a money grabbing *.

Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has directly accused backroom staff of Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg in helping filter pyrotechnic material to the club's ultras at last week's Europa League tie in Anoeta.

Late in the second half a barrage of flares were hurled towards the pitch from the sector where the visiting Zenit fans were located.

    Zenit staff
Aperribay, speaking at the shareholders meeting in San Sebastian stated: “What happened last Thursday was a disgrace. For this game there were 140 local police on duty when normally there are 80 and 180 members of security when normally 104 are employed. Each Russian fan was searched extensively upon being admitted to the stadium and we strongly suspect that backroom staff from the Zenit delegation (who are not searched) were instrumental in getting the pyrotechnic material to the ultras. We've voiced this view to UEFA's Disciplinary committee and hope they act accordingly against the Russian side".

    UEFA fine?
Speaking later after the meeting, the president spoke on the matter with less emotive language claiming that he statement was not an open accusation but a suspicion, adding "We employed an extensive search process to specifically ensure that this type of material was not bought into the ground". He later added that if normal procedure from UEFA was adhered to, then it would be the LaLiga club who would suffer the fine adding that his suspicion is that staff from the Russian club are not searched when travelling with the side were involved in passing the flares to the travelling supporters section". Aperribay concluded that he has conveyed his sensations in writing directly to UEFA.

Not looking forward to this one.

Anderlecht was awful, and they're currently getting fkd 5-0 at Brugge.

Zenit have just kicked off their first bounce game of the Winter Break vs Copenhagen. Will be interesting to see how they get on, Copenhagen probably fairly similar to us in terms of quality. Got 5 more bounce games after this before they come to Celtic Park.

It's a friendly against another team coming back from a winter break chill oot. We're far better than Copenhagen as well.

Can see us getting shagged at home then putting in a decent performance away from home and getting a draw when the tie is already essentially over. Hard to be enthusiastic unless we sign one or two quality players in the last few days of the window

Zenit got their second bounce match at 3pm today vs Slavia Prague, a team we played out a dire 0-0 draw with in preseason

5-1 ffs and there's still 15 mins to go. That's 10 goals they've put past Copenhagen and Slavia Prague, my confidence in this Last 32 tie has taken a huge dent.

Starting to get quite excited for this tie. Once Brendan picks the right starting 11 and decides who he wants starting in defence I think we will beat them. Certainly have the quality. Kouassi and ntcham are settled now too so I think we will have the stronger team

He'd got 2 in 24 for them last season.

Aleksander Korokin was their top striker with 18 in 29.

It's like saying Sviatchenko leaving is a big boost to Zenit.
