    only tasted it once (in resturant at celtic park) never really fancied it given what is in it. Awful stuff, one small fork full and it geed me the boak. never again.

    Even its name is horrible. Wouldn't eat anything with Hag in its name. I also avoid Vimto because it tastes like its anagram: Vomit.

    Agree with this - most of the craft beer/gastro pubs will include a lovely portion of non-offal meat-free Haggis with their Vegetarian breakfasts, gawd this thread is making me hungry right enough:crazy3::cool:

    If it's not got meat in it you can't really call it a haggis. I find some vegetarians to be a bit odd. "I wont eat meat but I'll eat things that look like meat". Very strange.

    Haggis doesn't exactly look like meat! Veggie haggis looks and tastes the same because the main bulk ingredient isn't meat derived anyway and it's the spices that give the taste.

    I'm not a vegetarian... Just not a wholesale carnivore , just choosy!
