Rodgers spoke of Armstrong's legs, but Rogic's ability to keep the ball under pressure is equally, if not more, valuable.

He's very capable at Champions League level. Receives the ball so well. Holds onto it, can run with it and can make a pass.

His little touch and pass at 88 minutes was probably the best moment of the game for us. More little pieces of class like that throughout the team and we'll be in with a chance of hurting teams like Bayern.

Can see why he wasn't started last night but maybe he should have..

Easy in hindsight to say start him and like I said in the Dembele thread it's easier to make an impact when the game already done..

Has to start in the home tie, he offered more in the short time he was on than Armstrong the full game.

He was pretty ineffective against PSG, and hasn't been his usual self in recent games domestically, so felt it was the right call. I would start him in the return leg though.

Did he play vs PSG? Pretty sure he didn't start.

It's a strange one because we could do with having as many holding/defensive CMs on the pitch as possible against these teams, but on the other hand, on the rare occasions we do have the ball in their half we need players like Rogic on the pitch to make something happen.

Bit of a catch 22. I can see why he wouldn't start away but at home we need to try and take the game to them as much as possible, as they are guaranteed to get goals either way. Need to try and match them attacking wise, a la Man City.
