    Justice system is very strange indeed. Money is of more value than people.

    Would he have got longer if he had out a knife to someone's throat and robbed them of £30 ? Probably. Ridiculous.

    It does seem very wrong given the danger he clearly presents to kids. As others have said it is fairly common to see much worse sentences for crimes that dont pose as much of a threat as this one does.

    Do you think that girl will get over that in 3 years?

    Scumbag has got himself a job of trust, abused that trust and scarred that kid for life.

    3 years...

    While that child has to try and come to terms with that, this * troglodyte will be back on the street free to do it again.

    Shocking. The justice system can be a joke. Reminds me of time some old woman claimed to much benefits. She went 10k over the allowance your aloud for saving. She lived alone in a caravan with her cat after her husband died. The judge seized and took all the money back and give her 2 years inside. Crazy!

    Sheriff Alan Mackenzie sentenced Moran to three years in jail and put him on the * offenders register indefinitely.

    He told Moran: "The offences are of the utmost gravity. I am in no doubt, as has been recognised, no other disposal other than a custodial one is appropriate."

    I can't even comprehend that statement from the sheriff. It's as if he is apologising for sentencing him!

    Without an exaggeration, within a ONE MILE radius of a north Belfast homing building for * offenders there is:

    -2 nursery schools
    -2 primary schools
    -3 secondary schools

    You couldn't pick a worse place for it without asking the nursery to share a building with them.

    Always been the same. Probably comes down to some draconian law that suits the upper echelon. From days when children were seen and not often heard. Needs to be bigger deterrents in place for these nonces.
