People slagging his first half performance.. he was doubled up on by the huns everytime he got the ball. Lustig and rogic offered no help and Griffiths was in box. He's good but beating two men to get some space is a tough task.

That through ball is him all over, classy.

I thought he played well but his decision making in the first half was poor. He was too greedy and kept trying to take too many players on.

Had the beating of their left back though. Piece of *.

For me the best player on the pitch. Just compare with our other wing where nothing was happening. He is our best player when it comes to rip apart a defence on his own.

Thought he played well today caused them problems and tracked back defensively as well, final ball could've been better first half but he made up for that with his pass for the goal looking forward to him being fully fit.

That pass is what sets him aside from any other player we have.

Totally agree, he's so much more than just a dribbler, he's got great vision and the ability to deliver just the right weight on the pass.

He hit the exact same pass in the new year game only stu squared it to Sinclair. Same end result from the pass.

He's an absolute joy to watch.

Every time he gets the ball I think something is gonna happen. Players like that are priceless.

Got to the point where you actually felt a bit of sympathy for their left back. Roberts was going past him for fun time and time again. Similar when he tore beerman a new one last season, they just don't have anyone nearly capable of stopping him.

He's the type of player that when he gets the ball you just sit up and expect something to happen. Not too dissimilar to when a certain Lionel Messi picks up the ball..

So why do some fans bizarrely give him stick and call him ineffectual?

Paddy's passing is thoroughly underrated imo. His vision is just wonderful. An eye for a pass, and a goal, can also tear players apart. Oh Im glad the wee man's back.

He is a fantastic player for us.
His vision and weight of pass is immense.
His quickness of feet and ability to run with the ball, draws players towards him which opens up other areas for team mates to make runs.
    Very talented IMO.

I disagree when he was his own in the first half no one was supporting him. Hence him having to take up to 3 players

Non existent first half as we didn't use him enough but that pass for Griffiths goal :notworthy very much like the one he played for Armstrong in the new year 2-1 game.
