Brown and ntcham

First of all i like both players although still early days with ntcham but does anybody else feel these two players together isn't going to work ? everybody is going to point to the astana game as proof it does but we must bare in mind we had 3 shots on target and scored 5 goals that game.

They are too similar for me, there is no link between the midfield and strikers without a mcgregor or armstrong in there to support rogic and we are far too slow getting forward. Just feels like brown biton all over again. So would people prefer to go back to our very attacking formation of last season or switch it up to accommodate both players ?

 

Seriously? One draw and now Brown and Ntcham are to similar to play together. Come on ffs.

 

Brown won't be dropped. I think Rodgers will rotate Cham and Armstrong.

Tell me you aren't basing this on today's result?

 

We need to remember how young Ntcham is and he'll have days like these..

The bhoy is class but is still learning so we need to remember that..

 

Now a few weeks have passed since i made this observation. We are not the same team we were since putting a 2nd deep lying midfielder in. Slows down the midfield we struggle to create chances atall. If ever there was a time to stick with a formation and style of play it was on the back of an unbeaten season and a decent first showing in europe. Surely i am not the only person who feels this way ?

 

i agree there no link up between ntcham/brown and roberts. it effectively takes the right winge out of the game , which has showed by our left wing being where the danger comes from.
